8-year-old Lily, who “dominated the block” in their previous neighborhood, has always been an indoor/outdoor cat.
But after the family relocated to a new home in Long Island’s Mastic Beach, things started to change. Stephanie was concerned that her cat would become lost and confused because everything was so new.
Stefanie told KTLA, “I was particularly worried about bringing her to a new environment, how she would react.
When Stefanie made the decision to go exploring and didn’t come back right immediately, she was already concerned for the safety of the short-haired moggy.
A cat from Long Island cleverly announced her coming by activating a Ring doorbell camera and won the internet’s affection.

But from Lily’s vantage point,S everything was unicorns and rainbows. She had fled, as outdoor cats frequently do, to pursue her own interests for a bit.
But when she returned to her home four days later, there was no time to linger and no small talk to exchange.
The fact that she was being pursued by something made what she did next even more urgent.

Lily began to meow to alert her humans that the princess of paw-some was back in town when it didn’t swing open right away.

Everyone was surprised when they heard the doorbell ring. At such an unholy hour, who could be at the door?

Once all the cats teach each other how to press our buttons, they’ll work their way up to the DoorDash app so they can have some fresh tuna and steaks delivered right to their doorstep.
